Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: May 25, 2026 · Version: 1.0

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to everyone who uses ReelShowing. It is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. Violating this policy can result in content removal, account suspension, or termination.

You agree NOT to use ReelShowing to:

  • Infringe intellectual property. Upload video, audio, images, logos, or other content you do not own or have a license to use. This is the most common cause of account termination.
  • Violate fair housing laws. If you market real estate in the United States, your content must comply with the Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. § 3601 et seq.) and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act. Do not use language, imagery, or targeting that discriminates on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, familial status, or disability.
  • Misrepresent the property. Do not use the service to create misleading clips that materially misrepresent a property’s condition, location, size, or features.
  • Harass, threaten, or defame anyone in content created or distributed through the service.
  • Upload illegal content, including but not limited to child sexual abuse material, content that promotes terrorism, content depicting non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that violates export-control or sanctions laws.
  • Capture or share other people’s images without consent where consent is required by law.
  • Distribute malware or attempt to compromise the service: no viruses, worms, ransomware, scrapers used to mass-extract data, denial-of-service attempts, or unauthorized penetration testing.
  • Circumvent technical limits — do not bypass rate limits, free-tier quotas, watermarks, or other access controls.
  • Resell or sublicense the service beyond what is expressly permitted by your subscription, or use the service to provide a substantially similar product.
  • Misuse the AI features. Do not use clip selection, transcription, or rendering to produce content that defames, harasses, deepfakes, or impersonates real individuals.
  • Spam or abuse the email system. Do not use signup, password reset, or verification flows to spam third parties.
  • Misuse music. Do not upload music you don’t have rights to. Do not redistribute the in-app music library outside of the rendered videos you produce.
